A Special Birthday Party and a Trip to the ZOO!

We decided to celebrate Conner’s 4th birthday and Katie’s 2nd when we visited them in January.  I bought an ice cream cake (Jaime’s favorite kind of cake), and I put 4 candles on one end and two on the other and let them both have a go at it.  


Conner knew what to do.  He’s four and can do everything ALL BY MYSELF.


Katie watched Conner from the safety of her daddy’s arms. 


What!  Conner blew out my candles!  I call Katie “Little Miss Bright Eyes”


Conner likes to bring his bike to our RV park so he can ride with his Pappy.


Katie enjoyed playing with some of her mommy’s old toys.


I thought she looked so sweet in her pink dress, and she likes to be pretty!


Ice cream!  She likes ice cream as much as her mommy and Pappy but doesn’t like to get her dress dirty, so mommy took it off.


We took Conner to the Tampa Zoo.  He likes the zoo and Jaime and Ron take him often, so he can tell us where to go to see his favorite animals.


They have a nice merry-go-round at the zoo, and he and Grammy like to ride it.

He also likes to ride the Flying Banana, 


and the pony rides!


He’s not tall enough to ride the roller coaster by himself so Pappy volunteered.


They both look like they’re having fun!


He told his mommy that Pappy rode with him because Grammy was scared. 


The camel rides are another favorite.


He really likes the penguins.


I like the little big game hunter.  Oh, I guess he’s not hunting in the zoo!  OOPS!


They have trees to climb, bouncy houses, and lots of animals.  We all had a fun day at the zoo, and it was a great visit with Jaime and her family before our trip to Key West.
